The adrenal cortex has marked spindle cell hyperplasia and an area that is enlarging and compressing the adjacent parenchyma consisting of spindle shaped cells. This is tentatively diagnosed as an adrenal cortical spindle cell sarcoma pending immunohistochemical analyses to determine the cell type of origin. |
