Description |
follicular center cell lymphoma |
Notes |
Follicular lymphoma, spleen. There is a uniform enlargement of all white pulp areas. The white pulp has lost its normal structure. The white pulp is composed of a mixture of large blast cells (centroblasts), cleaved lymphoid cells (centrocytes with folded nuclei), and small lymphocytes (centrocytes). Some cells have abundant pale cytoplasm. The lymphoma cells are CD45R+ and non-neoplastic infiltrating small lymphocytes are CD3+. |
