Description |
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, centroblastic, spleen |
Notes |
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, centroblastic, spleen. There is a diffuse infiltration of lymphoma cells throughout the spleen. The tumor cells are uniform in size and shape with prominent central nucleoli and sparse cytoplasm. Many mitotic figures are observed. The starry sky effect is seen (tingible-body macrophages throughout containing tumor cell debris). Metastatic tumor cell foci are seen in the liver. The tumor cells are CD45R+. Some tumor infiltrating CD3+ lymphocytes are scattered in the spleen. |
