Description

lymphoblastic lymphoma, thymic origin, early

Notes

Lymphoblastic lymphoma, thymic origin, early .The thymus is depleted of lymphocyte, much smaller than normal and its normal structure is not seen. A focus of immature lymphoid cells (a mixture of large lymphoblasts with round nuclei and large nucleoli, and medium-sized lymphocytes) is noted. Similar immature lymphocytes can be seen in the remaining thymic medulla among mature lymphocytes and cystic epithelium. Bouin?s fixation. The tumor cells are CD3+. From a Trp53 null mouse.
