Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Liver - Normal tissue: There is strong cytoplasmic labeling for eosinophilic major basic protein of the cytoplasm of a few eosinophils admixed to numerous other inflammatory cells in a portal space (antibody diluted at 1:2,000, tissue fixed in Fekete's solution, enzymatic digestion in trypsin). Most of these inflammatory cells are polymorphonuclears that do not label for eosinophilic major basic protein and hence are interpreted as being neutrophils.
