Tail: the mass is composed of solid and papillary areas separated by empty or blood-filed slit-like spaces with a few cystic areas filled with blood. Neoplastic cells are histiocytoid, with indistinct cell borders and a moderate amount of strongly acidophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, oval, medium-sized, and normochromatic. |
