Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Testis: neoplastic cells are large, histiocytoid, with distinct cell borders and a large amount of strongly acidophilic cytoplasm which is occasionally slightly vacuolated. The nucleus is central to eccentric, oval, medium-sized (on average), hypochromatic, with a delicately stippled chromatin, and generally one small basophilic nucleolus. Anisocytosis and anisokaryosis are moderate. Mitoses are rare (only one detected on this photomicrograph). Vascular spaces resemble sinusoids.
