Undifferentiated sarcoma: the neoplasm is composed of bundles separated by a moderate amount of loose fibrovascular stroma with a prominent granulocytic infiltration. Neoplastic cells are very large, oat-shaped to fusiform, with distinct cell borders and a large amount of amphophilic fibrillar cytoplasm with occasionally a few small acidophilic areas. The nucleus generally is cental, large to very large, and hypochromatic. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are severe. |
