Kidney: the interstitium of the kidney is moderately expanded by closely-packed sheets of neoplastic lymphocytes. Neoplastic cells are small, round, with distinct cell borders and a small amount of pale basophilic cytoplasm. Their nucleus is central, small to medium-size, round, hyperchromatic, with a coarsely-clumped chromatin, and 1-2 medium-sixed basophilic nucleoli. Anisocytosis and anisokaryosis are mild. Mitotic rate is intermediate, with two mitoses identified in this photomicrograph. |
