Pathology Image Detail

Caption

This high magnification figure allows to better visualize cytological features of neoplastic lymphocytes. Neoplastic lymphocytes form closely packed sheets. They are round, with indistinct cell borders and a scant amount of amphophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, round, medium-sized and hyperchromatic. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are mild. Mitotic rate is high and numerous neoplastic cells undergo single cell necrosis.
