Pathology Image Detail
Caption |
Mammary gland: the mammary gland is effaced by a nodular, multilobular, partly encapsulated, invasive, densely cellular neoplasm which is associated with emboli (*) in nearby veins (V). Large areas of liquefactive necrosis (N) are present at the center of the neoplasm. Neoplastic lobules are separated by a small amount of fibrovascular stroma, and are composed of solid areas and a few glands lined by a one cell-thick epithelium. |
