Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Circumscribed adenocarcinoma: the mammary parenchyma is effaced by a nodular, expensile, unencapsulated, densely cellular, polycystic mass. This mass is composed of glands that show various degrees of ectasia, contain an amorphous acidophilic material, and are lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal to columnar epithelium supported by a scant amount of fibrovascular stroma.
