Mammary gland: neoplastic epithelial structures generally are several cells-thick (up to 10 cells-thick) and are characterized by the formation of secondary lumens. Neoplastic cells are large, cuboidal to polygonal, with distinct cell borders and a large amount of strongly acidophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, oval, medium-sized, normochromatic, with a coarsely-clumped chromatin and 1-3 small basophilic nucleoli. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are mild. |
