Hyperplastic alveolar nodule: the nodule is unencapsulated. It is composed of closely-packed glands and ducts that show various degrees of ectasia. Acini are lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal epithelium with prominent small lipid vacuoles and proteinaceous droplets. There is no evidence of atypia. |
