Glandular adenoma of the mammary gland: the neoplasm is composed of closely-packed glands lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal epithelium supported by a moderate amount of fibrovascular stroma. Most of these glands show mild to moderate ectasia and are filled by a proteinaceous fluid. Neoplastic cells have indistinct cell borders and a moderate amount of acidophilic cytoplasm that often contains numerous lipid vacuoles and proteinaceous droplets of various sizes. |
