Mammary gland: the mammary gland is expanded by a nodular, well-defined, unencapsulated, densely cellular mass. The periphery of this mass is composed of closely-packed glands resembling mammary acini. The center of this mass is composed of duct-like structures embedded in a large amount of loose fibrovascular stroma. These features are consistent with a diagnosis of a "lactation responsive plaque", although this plaque is unusually large. |
