Mammary gland: the mammary gland is effaced by a moderately cellular, encapsulated, well-delineated, expensile, multilobular neoplastic mass. This neoplasm is composed of branching ducts supported by a large amount of cellular stroma. Neoplastic ducts are lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal epithelium. Neoplastic ducts are often distended by a proteinaceous fluid. Neoplastic cells have ill-defined cell borders and a moderate amount of a strongly amphophilic cytoplasm that often contains lipid vacuoles. |
