Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland: the mammary gland is effaced by a large, nodular, encapsulated, moderately cellular, expensile neoplasm. There is moderate diffuse lobular hyperplasia and secretory activity in the adjacent mammary parenchyma. The neoplasm is composed of contoured glands lined by a two cells-thick epithelium supported by a large amount of fibrovascular stroma. Many glands are ectatic and are filled with an amorphous proteinaceous fluid oaccasionally admixed with a coarse granular yellow-brown pigment.
