Mammary gland: the neoplasm is composed of closely-packed glands with a narrow lumen, lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal epithelium, and supported by a small amount of fibrovascular stroma. Neoplastic cells are cuboidal, with indistinct cell borders and a moderate amount of acidophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, oval, generally basal, medium-sized, normochromatic, with a finely stippled chromatin and 1-4 medium-sized basophilic nucleoli. |
