Solid mammary adenocarcinoma: the neoplasm is composed of solid areas of closely-packed polygonal neoplastic cells with indistinct cell borders. There are, at the periphery of the neoplasm, small clusters of neoplastic cells that have a paler cytoplasm, and a larger and more hypochromatic nucleus than neoplastic cells in the rest of the neoplasm. |
