Pathology Image Detail
Caption |
Mammary gland: the neoplasm is composed of closely-packed trabeculae that are 2-4 cells-thick at the periphery of the neoplasm, and up to 10 cells-thick at the center of the neoplasm. These trabeculae are separated by a scant amount of fibrovascular stroma and a moderate number of adipocytes have been entrapped in the neoplasm. A few tubules are present at the periphery of the neoplasm and are interpreted as non-neoplastic mammary tubules entrapped by the neoplasm. There is a moderate lymphocytic and plasmacytic inflammation at the periphery of the neoplasm. |
