Lung: a pulmonary metastasis of a mammary adenocarcinoma is composed of large lobules separated by a scant amount of fibrovascular stroma. Neoplastic lobules are solid and neoplastic cells form numerous secondary lumens. Numerous large areas of liquefactive necrosis are present at the center of neoplastic lobules. There is prominent nuclear palissading at the periphery of neoplastic lobules. |
