Mammary adenocarcinoma: this photomicrograph focuses on the solid portions of the neoplasm. The center of this area has undergone liquefactive necrosis. This area is composed of nests and solid areas. Slender fibrovascular septae (arrwoheads) subdivide the solid areas. Numerous neoplastic cells undergo single cell necrosis and mitotic rate is high.
