Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland: the lobular architecture of the mammary gland is prominent. Large amounts of a golden-yellow and coarsely granular intracytoplasmic pigment are present in cells located within the epithelium or in the lumen of the mammary ducts and acini. This pigment most likely is located in macrophages rather than in epithelial cells.
