Pathology Image Detail

Mammary gland: the lumen of mammary ducts (predominantly) and acini is moderately expanded by a strongly acidophilic proteinaceous material that also contains a few clusters of desquamated cells. The epithelium lining these ducts and acini is hypercellular and columnar and it forms a few minute papillary projections. Cells lining these ducts have a larger nucleus than what is expected for the normal mammary gland. |
