Lung: the metastases share many features with the primary tumor, including the formation of microacini and of large papillary structures in ducts resembling the mammary ducts. Minute areas of cornification (arrowhead) are present in the areas of ductal differentiation. Cells undergoing cornification often contain keratohyalin granules (basophilic granules) in their cytoplasm. |
