Mammary gland: the mammary gland is expanded by a nodular, partly encapsulated, locally invasive, densely cellular neoplasm with a prominent papillary pattern. The neoplasm is composed of closely-packed papillae lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal epithelium supported by a moderate amount of dense fibrovascular stroma.
