Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland: the mammary gland is expanded by a nodular, unencapsulated, densely cellular neoplasm that arises within a duct (the duct was cut open during the preparation of the specimen). The lumen of the duct is filled with multiple papillary projections supported by delicate fibrovascular projections. Numerous hyperplastic alveolar nodules are present in the nearby mammary parenchyma.
