Papillary adenoma: the neoplasm is composed of papillary projections lined by a one cell-thick cuboidal epithelium that also forms small glands and solid areas. Neoplastic cells are cuboidal to polygonal, with indistinct cell borders and a small to moderate amount of acidophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus tends to be basal, oval, and medium-sized. |
