Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary adenocarcinoma: neoplastic cells do not label for alpha-smooth muscle actin. A small number of cells in the fibrovascular stroma of the neoplasm do label for alpha-smooth muscle actin. These cells are interpreted as myofibroblasts and smooth muscle fibers of the vasculature.
