Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland: the mammary gland is effaced by a densely cellular neoplastic process characterized by the formation of coalescing solid areas separated by small amount of fibrous stroma. Neoplastic cells within the solid areas form streaming bundles. Neoplastic cells are medium-size, fusiform, with indistinct cell borders and a moderate amount of strongly amphophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, oval to slightly elongated, and normochromatic. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are mild.
