Caption	Type P tumor: there is a discontinuous row of basal cells which shows moderate cytoplasmic labeling for alpha-smooth muscle actin. A few cells located withing the fronds of neoplastic cells are also labeled. These cells generally form a small crown surrounding optically empty spaces. These spaces may represent lumens or hypocellular and edematous stroma.

Type: antibody	Name anti-alpha smooth muscle actin (A2547) Target alpha-smooth muscle actin, N-terminus Supplier Sigma-Aldrich Notes Monoclonal anti-Alpha Smooth Muscle Actin antibody produced in mouse (raised against N-terminal synthetic decapeptide of alpha-smooth muscle actin). The antibody (also known as anti-a-Sm-1) is specific for the single isoform of alpha-smooth muscle actin.

General Note: Hemizygous mice. The transgene was generated on a C57BL/6 x SJL background. It was subsequently backcrossed onto FVB/NJ.
