Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Type P tumor: there is a discontinuous row of basal cells which shows moderate cytoplasmic labeling for alpha-smooth muscle actin. A few cells located withing the fronds of neoplastic cells are also labeled. These cells generally form a small crown surrounding optically empty spaces. These spaces may represent lumens or hypocellular and edematous stroma.
