Mammary gland: neoplastic lobules are composed of solid areas with multifocal central cavitation. Nuclear palissading is prominent in the layer of cell in contact with the basement membrane that separate neoplastic cells from the stroma. Neoplastic cells are cuboidal to polygonal, with indistinct cell borders and a small amount of acidophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, oval, medium-size, and normochromatic. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are mild. Mitoses are numerous. Numerous minute secondary lumens are present (*). |
