Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Haired skin: this is a small, unencapsulated, well-delineated, densely cellular, invasive, dermal neoplastic mass. It is composed of closely-packed sheaths of round cells supported by a small amount of fibrovascular stroma. Neoplastic cells are round to polygonal, with distinct cell borders and with a moderate amount of delicately granular basophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, round to oval, and hyperchromatic. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are minimal. Mitoses are not detected.
