Caption

Stomach: there is marked diffuse hyperplasia of the gastric mucosa with prominent catarrhal metaplasia. Many gastric glands are moderately to markedly ectatic and are filled with mucus. There is mild diffuse lymphocytic and plasmacytic infiltration of the gastric mucosa. Two gastric glands have herniated underneath the muscularis mucosae.
