This is a small region of the duodenum from a 329 day old AKR/J +/+ male mouse in the Shock Aging Center Program. Notice the diffuse infiltration of neoplastic lymphocytes within the lamina propria. This is a very common lesion in this strain resulting in most of the mice dying by 18 months of age. 25x magnification. |
