Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland: the mammary parenchyma is effaced by a nodular, unencapsulated, densely cellular, invasive neoplasm. This neoplasm is composed of interconnected ducts lined by a one cell-thick epithelium and supported by a moderate amount of fibrovascular stroma with a moderate pleocellular inflammation. Cytological details are poor because the tissue was fixed in ethanol.
