Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland: all mammary ducts and alveoli are moderately ectatic and are lined by a one cell-thick epithelium that forms numerous small papillary projections. There is moderate interstitial fibrosis and pleocellular inflammation at the periphery of these ducts and alveoli. Cytological details are poor because the tissue was fixed in ethanol.
