Mammary gland: the cells have distinct cell borders and a moderate to large amount of basophilic cytoplasm which often contains variably-sized lipid vacuoles. The nucleus is central, large, oval to round, hyperchromatic, and with a large central basophilic nucleolus. A small hyperplastic alveolar nodule (*) is identified in the nearby mammary gland. |
