Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Mammary gland (mammary lobular hyperplasia): myoepithelial differentiation is evidenced by expression of keratin 5 by a few cells throughout this hyperplastic nodule. These cells are flattened and form a discontinuous layer in the hyperplastic alveoli, while they form a continuous layer in the areas of ductal differentiation (*).
