Mammary gland, type P tumor: neoplastic cells are arranged in cords and fronds (in between arrowheads) separated by a moderate amount of loose fibrovascular stroma. A lumen (*) is present at the center of some of these cords and occasionally is filled with blood. The cords are lined by a basal layer of cells that are arranged in a gravestone pattern and that generally label for myoepithelial markers. The fronds resemble terminal end buds of the pubertal mammary gland. |
