Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Type P tumor: a discontinuous row of alpha-smooth mucsle actin-positive cells surrounds fronds of neoplastic cells. In addition, scattered luminal cells that occasionally form small duct-like structures also label for alpha-smooth muscle actin. Myeopithelial cells that strongly label for alpha-smooth muscle actin form a continuous row of cells in a non-neoplastic mammary duct (right portion of the figure).
