Mammary gland: this is a densely cellular neoplasm comprised of trabeculae, nests and glands separated by large portions of the neoplasm where neoplastic cells form streaming and whorling bundles which are indicative of epithelial to mesenchymal transition. Areas of cornification (squamous metaplasia; *) are present at the center of a few neoplastic trabeculae and nests. |
