This is a simple solid mammary adenocarcinoma in a 630 day old SWR/J female mouse. A solid carcinoma, most likely of mammary gland origin, is present with extensive areas of necrosis. This is probably the cause of the reactive splenomegally. There micrometastases in the lung. |
