Notes |
This is a pituitary gland adenoma compressing the overlying brain. At low magnification it appears to consist of numerous blood filled cavities resembling a capillary hemangioma. At higher magnification these cavitations are not lined by endothelial cells but rather are lined by epithelial cells. |
