Notes

This is the skin from the muzzle as evidenced by the numerous vibrissae present (large hair follicles surrounded by a blood filled sinus). The second section is from skin adjacent to the eyelids (not shown). Both sections are heavily infiltrated by lymphocytes. Spontaneous cutaneous lymphomas are rare in mice.
