Description

mammary gland adenocarcinoma

Age at Necropsy

599 days

Notes

This is the skin from a 599 day old female SWR/J mouse. There is a massive neoplasm extending to the dermis with massive amounts of necrosis. Viable islands of anaplastic cells are present at the interface between the necrotic tissue and the dermis. This is most likely a very aggressive mammary adenocarcinoma.
