Description	thyroid gland adenoma
Age at Necropsy	738 days
Notes	This is the thyroid gland from a 738 day old female CBA/J mouse. The trachea is located as the cartilage bound open space to the left. Normal thyroid gland follicles are present adjacent to the trachea and each contains pink colloid. Adjacent to the normal thyroid is a large, circumscribed mass with follicle-like structures of various sizes, some of which contain colloid.
