 This the squamous or nonglandular stomach from an 819 day old female NON/ShiLtJ mouse. Note the raised squamous-papilloma-like structure in the wall protruding into the lumen. Within this mass are numerous "keratin pearls", well differentiated areas of an early squamous cell carcinoma.
