This is the liver from a 745 day old male DBA/2J mouse. There is an irregularly shaped expansile mass within the middle region of the liver. It consists of vascular spaces of various sizes with some thrombi present within the vascular spaces. The spaces are filled with red blood cells. This is an hemangiosarcoma. |
